MAIN ABILITY: Supernatural Reflexes [Intermediate]
Star's reflexes are enhanced to the point where he can catch flies with chopsticks, cut leaves out of the air and count the seconds it take a pen to fall. In combat this allows him to react appropriately to almost all incoming attacks no matter how sudden, although this ability is limited by both his physical speed and does little to nothing against something that covers a wide area so elemental users generally have him dead to rights
Secondary Ability: Supernatural Speed
Almost as if in response to the limitations of his enhanced reflexes Star's second manifestation took the for of a simple increase in speed. This ability is newer and severely underused so it has yet to be developed as much as his reflexes so he can't outrun a speeding bullet at this point, however he can outrun any normal human and his hands are a blur when he pushes himself. Star's speed however does take a physical toll as any exertion does and it burns through calories at an incredible late meaning after prolonged usage he needs an ice bath and lots of carbs

Overall Star's the typical tall dark and handsome archetype. He stands at 6" 2' making him considerably taller than average. His frame is very broad and muscular with an abundance of muscle that he has only recently been able to muster. The unfortunate side effect of his speed is that his metabolism is insanely fast, making him burn mass almost faster than he can keep it. However, this makes what he can pack on pure muscle but his current stature is his upper limit and any little slip in his eating regimen results in significant losses in muscle mass. His hair is pitch black which always struck him as somewhat strange considering as far as he knew he didn't have any Jewish, Mexican, Japanese or other heritage that typically has this trait. His eyes are a deep piercing blue that combined with his chiseled features give him a somewhat intimidating look. He typically wears darker clothing, mostly black, jackets and jeans or cargo pants are the typical choices combined with either a short-sleeved shirt on its own or a jacket.

Star despite the upbringing his, shall we say "eccentric" parents, has always been an introvert at his core, preferring to shy away from large social gatherings preferring instead the reflective quiet of solitude. His introverted nature was only amplified once his powers started to develop, causing him to withdraw from people almost entirely so he could avoid being caught. Star, as a result, comes off as prickly to put it kindly, he's kind of an asshole if you're candid though. This leaves him with few friends and lots of time. His spare time is spent reading or training, despite having to quit taking proper lessons Star has continued studying martial arts and swordsmanship as both a method of exercise and meditation, finding the blend of activity and discipline to be soothing to his dour disposition.

Born to two eccentric parents in the pacific northwest region of the united states he grew up as an only child, a fact he is grateful for because no other children need to suffer the naming sensibilities of his parents. Growing up he moved from place to place frequently for his parent's work, as a result, he never settled down in one place for more than a year or two until he hit the age of twelve. In the two years between settling down and the onset of his powers, Star took an interest in extracurricular activities, namely lacrosse in school as well as martial arts lessons as well as a western swordsmanship class.
Star's power manifested just a little ahead of schedule, slightly before his fourteenth birthday is when he thinks it started. The manifestation was a creeping process, at first, there was little difference, he just looked like a prodigy, gifted, in a way they were right. As time progressed the inhuman reaction times he displayed on occasion became more and more noticeable. Star thankfully noticed before anyone else did and he was faced with a choice and either way his aspirations of being an athlete where crushed. After a period of thought, his mother came forward with a secret, his bloodline, a secret kept from even his father, turned out his mother's green thumb was more than the result of tender love and care. He immediately gave up sports and his lessons, forced to practice and learn on his own to avoid the risk of detection. He shut himself off from everyone he knew, seeking solitude to foster his brooding mood and keep his secret. Star adjusted his career goals accordingly, he put more effort into studying, choosing to go into a career in computer engineering, a field that he was interested in and one that was safe considering his new skillset.
Fast forward a few years and there Star is a semi-poor college student trying to get into the best college he could. It was at this point one of his throwaway applications got a response. It was a great school and he managed to snag a partial scholarship. The catch? It was in Tokyo, luckily the language barrier wasn't a problem he spoke fluent Japanese if only because if you wanted to get ahead in the tech industry eventually you would be dealing with Japan. The real snag was the fact that the country had some pretty strict policies on powered individuals, namely that none were allowed in. After weighing his options he decided to go. Star's powers where, he thought, a well-guarded secret so nothing would change just because his country code did. So it was with no knowledge of the troubles the city of Tokyo had he set off like a lamb to the slaughter
